How do I book a waste collection with Dunmow Group?

The easiest way to book our waste collection service is through our online store. We split our waste collection service by 'Single Item Collection' and 'Man and Van' into two services for simplicity. You pay by card via our secure online booking service, selecting collection dates and can even specify a time slot.

With our single-item collection, we can take bulky items that you won't be able to dispose of yourself easily such as mattresses, fridges, freezers and bedframes. We also have a man and van service which is useful if you have a larger quantity of waste that's not single bulky items which is broken up into truck space used. This service is perfect for house, garden, office and garage clearances. 

When our uniformed team arrive at your required location for either service we make it as easy as possible for you by providing all of the heavy lifting of the items into our branded van, we will even sweep up the area after! All items and rubbish that we collect is taken back to our accredited waste transfer station, where we recycle as much as possible.

I am not sure what size truck space I need to book for your man & van service?

It can be hard to visualise how much space your waste will take up and if you will need to book a 1/4, 1/2 or full truck space for your waste collection.

The easiest way is to either email sales@dunmowgroup.com or WhatsApp us a photo of the rubbish and your postcode to 07902802802 where our team can advise the space that you will need. 

Why would I choose your waste collection service over hiring a skip?

Sometimes, it can be a real hassle to order a skip for customers that have no driveway, have limited or restricted street access or have to hire a permit through the council to place a skip on the road.

By choosing our waste collection service, you are granted with our uniform team that can take responsibility of all of the heavy lifting of items or bags into our vans - this also speeds up the process of removing your waste resulting in a quicker service. 

What's the process once I have booked in?

If you book online or over the phone with us you will select a day for collection and even an anytime/morning or afternoon time slot. Once payment is complete, your project will be booked on to our system with any notes of instructions for our drivers.

If the waste collection is outside, you don't need to be present for our team to collect but If the items that you want disposing are inside, you will need to be at home to let our waste collection team into the property. On the day of collection, you will receive a text message once the driver is en route to you. 


Will you provide documents to say i have disposed of the waste responsibly?

Once we complete the job, you as the customer will be emailed a completed job ticket which will include a duty of care notice and let you know what one of our licensed transfer stations the waste went back to. All of the paperwork you receive from us will prove that we are in keeping with current legislation. 

Is labour included?

As stated above, we provide a uniformed team to help load the items or waste into our branded vehicles - this is not an extra charge this is built in with the cost of the collection.

Will your team move waste from different areas of my house or garden or do I have to collect it together?

Our team can collate the waste from around the property or site! For example: If you have requested a garage clearance, but there are a few bits in the shed that you want removed, we can load these into the van for you too!


I have more waste than you originally quoted for, can i add this on?

Yes, if you originally paid for a 1/4 truck and then once our team start loading there is a lot more waste, they can advise how much more space you will need and call our office where we can take the extra card payment over the phone.

If you overpay for the space you think you are going to need in the truck, and our team load it up and it's less, once the van has come back to one of our waste transfer stations you will receive a refund for the unused space.
