This Bank Holiday Sunday saw the return of one of our favourite local events, The Great Dunmow Soapbox Race. With glorious sunshine but also a downpour, over 10,000 spectators, and more than 50 carts hurtling down the hill, the event was again a huge success.
We’re proud to have sponsored the race for a third year, joining other leading Essex companies to support a variety of local charities. It’s always an honour to give back to our community, especially at an event that is so local and that brings so much joy.
This year, our team went all out. We rebuilt and entered a brand-new cart, and we’re thrilled to say, Jonny, Dunmow Group's fitter, achieved our fastest time to date!
The Great Dunmow Soapbox Race has become a real highlight in the local calendar a fantastic family day out full of laughs, creativity, and high-speed fun, all in the name of raising money for some very worthy causes.
A huge thank you to the organisers, fellow sponsors, racers, and everyone who came out to cheer us on. We’re already counting down the days until next year!
