Proud Winners of Waste Transfer and Skip Hire Business of the Year

We’re thrilled to win Waste Transfer & Skip Hire Business of the Year at the National Awards for Excellence in Recycling and Waste Management.

Dunmow Group Directors Edward Barnes and Sam Malins were presented with this prestigious industry accolade by category sponsor Turmec at this year’s virtual ceremony.

“Winning this award is a huge achievement and I’m incredibly proud to accept it on behalf of everyone at Dunmow Group. It’s recognition of all of the hard work our passionate team put in to provide our customers with incredible customer service, each and every day”, said Sam.

 “What we love about this award is that it’s decided by the industry, so the panel has judged that Dunmow Group is the UK’s leading business in recycling and waste management.”

In judging this category the panel considered the standard of services we offer to our domestic and commercial customers. They were impressed by our high recycling rates and the processes we have in place to divert residual waste from landfill.

Health and safety performance, vehicle maintenance and operating standards were high on their list of priorities for the judges, along with the programmes we have in place to reduce in environmental impacts through the positive way our business is operated. Our work with the local community was a particular area of interest to the panel.
