As the internet floods with ideas on things to do while you’re at home, top of the list for many is getting stuck into DIY, loft clear-outs and garden projects. All leading to the inevitable pile of black sacks, bits of old furniture, old rolls of carpets and piles of junk. And this is where Dunmow Group can help, having introduced a new contactless waste collection service. This contactless service means that when we collect rubbish, our drivers will take a photo rather than ask for a signature, which is then automatically uploaded into our booking system. Rubbish can be left outside for our waste collection team to pick up and take away to our [recycling centre](https://www.dunmowgroup.com/waste-management/waste-transfer-station/our-recycling-centre/). So while households stay indoors and avoid the rubbish tip, Dunmow Waste keeps the county of Essex clean. No job is too big or too small so, whatever’s in the way, Dunmow Waste can take it away, including:  1. Lawn mowers 2. Garden furniture 3. Appliances 4. Beds and mattresses 5. Bikes 6. Cardboard 7. Furniture 8. Wood Here at Dunmow Waste we’re very much open for business, so [book online](https://www.dunmowgroup.com/book-online/) or give us a call on 01245 466646. ![01-Dunmow-Blog-Contactless-Rubbish-Collection-01](https://www.dunmowgroup.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Dunmow%20Waste%20Management/B%20Blog%20-%20Optimised/03.19.2020%20Dunmow%20Group%20Introduces%20Contactless%20Rubbish%20Collection/01-Dunmow-Blog-Contactless-Rubbish-Collection-01.jpg?width=800&name=01-Dunmow-Blog-Contactless-Rubbish-Collection-01.jpg) Previous Story [← Business As Usual - COVID-19 Update](https://www.dunmowgroup.com/blog/covid-19-update/) [** ](https://www.dunmowgroup.com/blog) Next Story [See Our New Contactless Delivery Service In Action →](https://www.dunmowgroup.com/blog/see-our-new-contactfree-delivery-service-in-action/) ## You May Also Like These Stories on News [![](https://www.dunmowgroup.com/hubfs/Courtney%20Chandler%20Key%20Account%20Manager%20and%20SME%20Builders%20and%20Metals%20Sector.jpg) ](https://www.dunmowgroup.com/blog/courtney-chandler-appointed-key-account-manager-for-sme-builders-metals-sector) [Insider](https://www.dunmowgroup.com/blog/tag/insider) ### [Courtney Chandler Appointed Key Account Manager for SME Builders & Metals Sector](https://www.dunmowgroup.com/blog/courtney-chandler-appointed-key-account-manager-for-sme-builders-metals-sector) Jul 1, 2026 2:59:52 PM | 2 min read [![](https://www.dunmowgroup.com/hubfs/Blog%20Header%20Images-1.png) ](https://www.dunmowgroup.com/blog/fly-tipping-essex-laws-penalties-environmental-damage-what-you-must-do-dunmow-group) [News](https://www.dunmowgroup.com/blog/tag/news) ### [Fly Tipping in Essex and the UK: The Law, the Cost, and Why It’s Everyone’s Problem | Dunmow Group](https://www.dunmowgroup.com/blog/fly-tipping-essex-laws-penalties-environmental-damage-what-you-must-do-dunmow-group) May 20, 2026 8:36:26 PM | 11 min read [![](https://www.dunmowgroup.com/hubfs/Dunmow%20Group%20expands%20with%20Harlow%20Skip%20Hire%20acquisition.jpg) ](https://www.dunmowgroup.com/blog/dunmow-group-expands-with-harlow-skip-hire-acquisition) [News](https://www.dunmowgroup.com/blog/tag/news) ### [Dunmow Group Expands with Harlow Skip Hire Acquisition](https://www.dunmowgroup.com/blog/dunmow-group-expands-with-harlow-skip-hire-acquisition) May 11, 2026 3:14:24 PM | 1 min read ** ### Subscribe by Email ## No Comments Yet Let us know what you think #### Accreditations and Certifications ![dunmow-accreditations-affiliations-v2](https://www.dunmowgroup.com/hs-fs/hubfs/dunmow-accreditations-affiliations-v2.png?width=1918&height=429&name=dunmow-accreditations-affiliations-v2.png "dunmow-accreditations-affiliations-v2") ### Dunmow Group Dunmow House Regiment Business Park Eagle Way Chelmsford, Essex, CM3 3FY Call us: [01245 466646](tel:01245466646) Gorse Lane Industrial Estate Stephenson Road Clacton-On-Sea CO15 4XA Call us: [01255 360031](tel:01255360031) #### Dunmow Group Dunmow House Regiment Business Park  Eagle Way Chelmsford, CM3 3FY Call us: [01245 466646](tel:01245466646) Gorse Lane Industrial Estate Stephenson Road Clacton-On-Sea CO15 4XA Call us: [01255 360031](tel:01255360031) Morses Lane Brightlingsea Colchester CO7 0SD Call us: [01206 307070](tel:01206307070) #### Opening times **Chelmsford:** Mon - Fri: 7:30am - 5:30pm | Saturday: 7:30am -  12:30pm **Chelmsford Metals:** Mon - Fri 7:30am - 4:30pm (Closed Saturdays) **Colchester:** Mon - Fri 7:30am - 5:30pm | Saturday: 7:00am - 12:30pm **Clacton:** Mon - Fri 7:30am - 5:30pm | Saturday: 07:30am - 12:30pm   #### Stay Updated ### Request a callback Copyright © 2025 Dunmow Skips Ltd T/A Dunmow Group.
