We’re delighted to welcome Martin Whillock to Dunmow Group as our new Head of Metals, further strengthening our leadership team and supporting our continued growth in the scrap metal industry.
Martin brings 16 years of hands-on experience in scrap metal, having worked his way up and gained a strong, practical understanding of every part of the operation.
In his most recent role at Unimetals as Special Projects Operations Manager, Martin travelled across multiple sites, helping to deliver operational improvements and support key projects. Before this, he worked with several well-established operators in the sector and began his career in metals and waste recycling.
As Head of Metals at Dunmow Group, Martin will lead and develop the metals division, improve trading performance and profitability, increase operational efficiency, and oversee the day-to-day running of the metals site.
Martin was attracted to Dunmow Group’s strong industry reputation and clear vision for developing the scrap metal side of the business. Over the next three years, he sees the operation growing into a larger, stronger, and more efficient business, with the capability to process its own material and continue expanding.
