The past few months have been a testing time for everyone, especially for staff at the NHS. We joined forces with dozens of other businesses to take part in a Truck Convoy on the 14th of August to help raise money, and to say thank you to the NHS. The event lasted for 2 days beginning at Generals Farm in Chelmsford. The convoy itself began on Saturday where the trucks were due to depart between 11:00-11:30am, however as a result of the rain the convoy was delayed until 1.30pm. ![01-Dunmow-Blog-Thank-You-to-the-NHS-01](https://www.dunmowgroup.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Dunmow%20Waste%20Management/B%20Blog%20-%20Optimised/08.17.2020%20Dunmow%20Group%20Thank%20You%20to%20the%20NHS/01-Dunmow-Blog-Thank-You-to-the-NHS-01.jpg?width=800&name=01-Dunmow-Blog-Thank-You-to-the-NHS-01.jpg) The trucks set off, heading up the A12 to the Copdock roundabout in Ipswich and then back to Generals Farm where the convoy had the rest of the afternoon for a socially distanced truck meet with refreshments. Despite the weather, the day was a huge success and everyone enjoyed getting together, albeit socially distanced. We’d just like to take the time to say a huge thank you to the NHS for all their hard work, resilience and determination they’ve shown throughout these uncertain times. Also, a big thank you to VG Nash and Sons for organising a wonderful event to celebrate our NHS Heroes and we look forward to participating in any future convoys!
